Circus' continuation of their London residency shows no signs of letting up as they tear into the final show of the summer with aplomb. The transplantation of the madness that defines their Liverpool parties to the capital has been a seamless undertaking, gifting the newly refurbished egg with the same core principles of ‘serious music and fun times' which has been the centrepiece for Circus in Liverpool.
Yousef is the man who has been at the forefront of everything Circus related in the last decade. Circus' ten year landmark is one of a series of achievements that have defined his 2012, with the record label of the same name clocking up twenty releases and Yousef's sophomore artist album, ‘A product of your Environment', due for release in the autumn.A stellar international touring schedule (including a recent tour de force showing in the Orient) rounds off the constant work which maintains his status as one of the premier figures in modern dance music.
Not unhumorously hailing from the small Tuscan town of Lucca, Luca Bacchetti is one of the foremost proponents of the seminal swing sound coming from the peninsula and abroad. Currently residing in Barcelona, the DJ, producer and co-label head makes swift business of spreading his signature twists and musical turns through myriad productions and remixes released on Ovum Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Culpirt, Wagon Repair and much more.
"I think Jon's a jewel in the crown. He's really great with the crowd and his music. He's been a great support to me. Put him in front of 30,000 people and he really goes for it. He naturally warms the crowds up. We always discuss what we'll both be playing and he goes out there and does it. At the moment he's better than most top DJs I could mention." Carl Cox. In 2006 Jon accepted the position of running the world renowned Intec Records on behalf of Carl Cox, taking the label into new musical directions and expanding on what the label had already built.
