EDM Fest will undoubtedly be one of 2012’s most impressive entertainment spectacles that is to become a fixture on the summer calendar for years to come. The exciting EDM Fest will take place on the 15th of December at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg

NuWave Entertainment and Tinderbox are bringing some of the world’s top EDM artists to thousands of South African electronic dance music lovers for one united display of mind-blowing trance, progressive trance and live vocal performances. The wheelchair friendly venue will be transformed into a first class party location with bars stretching over a 150 meters, food areas catering for a variety of tastes and ATM machines inside the venue grounds. In just under five years, W&W solidified into one of the freshest, most exciting electronic dance acts on the scene. From what started as a chance meeting at the 2007 Trance Energy, has come a new multifarious trance sound that, globally, has begun to shatter underground clubs, arenas and festivals. Almost a year to the day since Willem and Ward first shook hands, they quickly took up the spinning mantle. Lange is recognised as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade - a DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career, and a producer that continues to push all boundaries. He is the producer behind an astonishing 20 UK top 40 hits, while also being the talent responsible for the UK Top 10 trance anthem ‘Drifting Away’, the classic SuReal–‘You Take My Breath Away’ and the remixer that brought tracks such as DJ Sakin‘s ‘Protect Your Mind’, ‘Lost Witness’ and ‘Happiness Happening’ to a mainstream global audience. These achievements have gained him undiminished support from industry leaders such as Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules and Pete Tong, and even an appearance on Top of the Pops.

The Cape Town-based DJ and producer, Protoculture went from headlining festivals on the local psytrance scene each season, to living on international rotation and playing to audiences upwards of 150 000 people. SARAH HOWELLS

After surprising everyone, including herself, with the trance smash 'Out of the Sky' with Lange in 2008, folk singer Sarah Howells has enjoyed a hugely successful 2009 in trance music. Following it up with the massive Find Yourself with John O'Callaghan, Let it all out with Lange, Brave with First State and Believe in you with Dash Berlin.
2012 sees collaborations with Paul Van Dyk, another huge track with Dash and a follow up to the massive Acting Crazy with TyDI. Get involved!

OPTION A (Traveling South along the N1 - From Pretoria)
~~~~~~~~~
Traveling South on the N1 in Midrand take the Bloemfontein/Roodepoort split. Proceed along the N1 concrete highway (N1 South). Pass the following offramps, Rivonia, William Nicol, Malibongwe, Beyers Naude, 14th Ave, Gordon Rd, Maraisburg.
After the Maraisburg offramp, you will approach the Randskou offramp. Take the Randskou/Nasrec offramp. At the top of the offramp, turn left (Rand Show Road). At the third set of robot, turn left, the Expo Centre will be on the right hand side.
OPTION B (Traveling North along the N1 - From Bloemfontein)

Take the Soweto Highway offramp (Also signposted Expo Centre/Soccer City/Nasrec). At the stop street at the Soweto Highway, turn right. Approximately 2km further on there is signage on the left: Expo Centre/Soccer City. Turn left at this offramp. Proceed to stop street, turn left. Proceed to T-Junction, turn right (Nasrec sign). Proceed to robot (Nasrec Road), turn right. The Expo Centre is approximately 1km further on your right.
Alternative to following the Nasrec/Expo Centre/Soccer City Signage, turn right onto the N1 South (Bloemfontein) highway. The next exit of the N1 South is Randskou Road. Exit the highway here and follow the directions from Option A.
OPTION C (Traveling from OR Tambo International Airport)

After exiting the airport parking lot follow the signage towards Johannesburg R24 West. Once you are proceeding on the R24 towards JHB, you will approach a large intersection. Take the split towards Germiston/Johannesburg N3 South. Proceed on the N3 South towards Germiston/Johannesburg. Take the next split which specifies Johannesburg/Roodepoort/Bloemfontein.
Follow the signage which states Roodepoort/Bloemfontein M1 South. Take the M1 South towards Bloemfontein. Take the Nasrec Road/Baragwanath Hospital offramp. Keep to Nasrec Road. At the robot, turn right into Nasrec Road. Proceed straight (approximately 2km) and the Expo Centre will be on the left.
OPTION D (Traveling from Sandton)

From Grayston Rd, proceed to the M1 Highway. Proceed South, towards Johannesburg. At the M1, M2 interchange, follow the signs towards Bloemfontein, remain on M1 South. Take the Nasrec Road/Baragwanath Hospital offramp. Keep to Nasrec Road. At the robot, turn right into Nasrec Road. Proceed straight (approximately 2km) and the Expo Centre will be on the left.
