Craig Richards proudly announces Collisions, a monthly sound clash set to feature some of his closest musical peers from within the depths of Farringdon. Throughout this year Richards has been joined by artists whom he respects and connects with in Room One every month, and for his next appearance he takes the reigns alongside Seth Troxler and Schatrax. Seth Troxler, the inimitable Detroit native and globally-renowned selector, plays back-to-back with Richards. In our resident's own words, the pair have a "friendship and understanding of each other and each other's record boxes makes for a great collision." Schatrax, the artist named Josh Brent, also joins. Throughout the 90s Brent self-released a series of highly-acclaimed deep house records, and fittingly his more recent work has appeared on Richards' The Nothing Special imprint. He rounds off the bill at our first Collisions session.
Joseph Capriati returns to Room Two. The Italian talent has been a regular fixture with us since his first visit in 2011, now reigning as one of today's unstoppable techno talents. Capriati's work has most recently landed via Redimension, his label that brings together some of the genre's best producers. Capriati plays an extended 4-hour set in Room Two after a string of Room One dates, where he's joined by our resident and collector of punch house and techno in all forms, Terry Francis.
