With The Gallery now firmly settled in our fantastic new home at Ministry of Sound, Fridays have returned to the usual madness they should be. This being no exception on Friday 20th June and what better way to stir it than invite Marco V to drop a 3 hour set!!! Marcois a firm favourite here at The Gallery and still one of the leading names. Regularly pushing boundaries especially here at The Gallery previous gigs have included his Combinations album launch party which included 3 sets in 3 rooms, and playing behind a live visuals screen in the main room. A regular provider of the extended set he is one of the few big DJs who have the luxury of drawing upon a huge back catalogue of productions and a far reaching record collection to do the damage. Remy & Klinkenberg add their huge talent to the line-up, individually producers renowned the world over these two link up for only a few back to back sets and we are delighted that they are back at Gallery to show us what the fuss is all about. Markus Schossow made his London debut earlier this year at The Gallery and is continuing to cement his reputation as the one of the next breed of heavyweight DJs/producers. His trippy sound and massive productions such as ‘Mr White’ find themselves in the sets of the likes of Sander van Doorn to Armin van Buuren. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!!
Gallery residents Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy provide the start and the end of the night warming it up and bringing it to a close respectively. Meanwhile over in the Bar, it’s all about the deep and lush electronic sounds of Ashley Casselle headlines proceedings with superstars in the making Tim Davison and Dale Anderson. Tim’s remix of The Chemical Brothers’ ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’ has been hammered all over the globe by everyone from Justin Robertson to Nic Fanciulli and Fatboy Slim. Dale meanwhile has been flat out in the studio working on a debut artist album for Global Underground together with production partner in crime and Gallery hero Anil Chawla. Tanner Jarvis and Ben Nott look after the early slots, whilst Jeepers get the kids bouncing in the Baby Box and Plastic Fondu sex ‘em up in the Lounge.
