It’s been a while since Zoology has teamed up with anyone for the night, not that we’ve been short of offers, we just don’t like to team up with just anybody. When the team behind new label Electrik Shandy got in touch though we knew the time was right for a team up!
So for once that’s it from me and I now hand you over to label boss Dave Mac who provides some info on the label and the line up!
Electrik Shandy Recordings is a label that has burst onto the scene with a glut of quality releases. A label dedicated to bringing quality hard electronic music to the the dj's of this world. With over 10 years of dance music experience driving this label forward the best up and coming talents sit along side some of the scenes biggest players. With radio one support from Kutski and national press in the likes of I-DJ magazine, Electrik Shandy is fastly become a name associated with tip top hard dance! SQ, Iridium, Ben Bennett, Pero, Alex Mac & Zeebra Kid, Ld Concept, Simon Qudos, Hi Freak 1c, Trevor Dans and David Ding are just a few of the artists signed to the label. With many more future stars and big names also waiting for release the future is looking as healthy as Bill Gates bank account! One things for sure, Electrik Shandy doesn't do things in half measures!
Now the line up!
Chunky and fat are often words you hear used to describe Tony Skitini, but it does perfectly describe his style. Carving him self a growing reputation due to a unique fusion of electro, trance. His funky euphoria has seen him playing a number of parties across the capital, including his debut at Zoology last year, and even a guest slot on the Ministry of Sound radio show.
Dean R is a name becoming increasingly well known by the entire hard dance scene. Heading up one of the most talked about up and coming labels around in Inertia Digital. Cramming his sets full of his own productions, Dean R will be a name on everyone’s lips this year.
Electrik Shandy Recordings head honcho Dave Mac makes his Zoology debut, with a CD wallet full of the most upfront tunes around. He’ll be going back to back with Electrik Shandy’s latest signing and head of A&R down under David Ding. A world war of UK vs. Aussie and NZ hard trance is expected!
Top of the billing is a man who needs no introduction. The king of hard dance SQ will be bringing his Live PA to the 414. In what promises to be an all action act, SQ will be setting himself up like never before. Those of you lucky enough to be there will be treated to a full on SQ assault of the dance floor. Arming himself with his most upfront tunes expect nothing but an utter jaw dropping performance from the only man who in the past 6 months who can boast both working with Girls Aloud and remixing a Lab4 classic!
Wow! Thanks Dave.
How about that then?.
As well as this we have all the Zoology residents in action, Jim Wild, Latex Zebra, B.S.E and Matt Dahl and Markus Buhmann!
See you there!
