Like all good works of art, you have to take a step back to admire them. The DJs and artists that we've gathered together for this Fridays very special Gallery night we think are just that; leaders in their fields, great artists behind the decks. We welcome back the massive Hybrid for the 1st time this year and offe a debut set for America's John Creamer & Stephane K, the production duo behind many a Bedrock compilation and the filthy "F*@k Sonnet" as featured on Nic Fanciulli's Porn House Mixmag CD.
Welsh duo Hybrid - aka Chris Healings and Mike Truman are pound for pound world leaders on the breaks scene. Their last album Morning Sci-Fi was an epic journey of yearni g melodies, subtle breaks and dark rumbles, with the likes of Peter Hook (New Order) and John Creamer collaborating on some of the tracks. John of course lines up alongside production buddy Stephane K this Friday at The Gallery for an ultra-rare London appearance, whilst Hybrid play their first ever DJ set at the club, having wooed us all with an incredible live show in October last year. One of favourite Dutch DJs, Remy is also on main room duty this week to take over from the boys and up the pace a notch or two, with Gallery resident Steve Lee playing the night's final set and Loz Wilde returning for his second warm up slot.
The newly crowned Radio 1 jock Nic Fanciulli returns to host Fandango in the backroom this week which means another unbeatable night of all things house. We’re chuffed to bits that our ressie Nic has been snapped up by Radio 1 and on Friday, his room will feature some of London’s other coolest new DJs, artists and promoters. First up is Desyn Masiello. Signed to Deep Dish’s management and label Yoshitoshi, this guy is right up with the likes of Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo and he returns for his second Fandango set. Making their debuts will be Demi and Paolo Mojo. Demi is one of Danny Tenaglia’s favourite DJs and his Deeper Substance night is growing by the month. Paolo is a regular with the Bedrock camp and regularly plays alongside Sasha no less!! Nic’s final guest is Anil Chawla, the budding Mongo Bongo resident from Kent. Back in March, Nic asked Anil to step into his shoes for the night as he was away at Miami and he’s not looked back since. It’s also his birthday too, so get down early and buy him a drink!!
