3 years, 20 parties and over 7500 people....ES has come a long way since it first opened its doors in early 2006. We are proud to have given UK and London debuts to a number of high profile international Djs and to be at the forefront of cutting edge and the most forward thinking line ups that continue to push the boundaries within electronic dance music.
On Feb 28th 2009, we have put together a line up consisting of all our favourite residents and Djs from over the past 3 years who have rocked the ES turntables the most. Firstly, we are proud to present headlining the master that is Jon O'Bir. This will actually be the 3rd time in 12 months that Jon has played for ES and he really is on the rise with performances all over the world establishing his reputation as one of the Uk's best trance Djs. His new album 'from Within' will be heavily showcased and it has received rave reviews from all over.
Joining Jon will be our ever reliable International resident Niklas Harding. Niklas has been busy in the studio of late and will be churning out lots of new material on board as well as a few classics. Having been resident for over a year now Nik knows well and truly how to rock the boat and he never disappoints! 2009 promises to be a very big year with more top material and world tours planned including the Far East, Australia and the Americas.
Making his ES debut will be a good friend of ES, the master of trance that is 'The Viceroy'. Otherwise known as Tom Godwin, he needs no introduction due to his weekly residency at the Uk's most famous weekly trance night 'The Gallery' at Ministry Of Sound. Tom also runs ' Vaccine ' where he has been busy promoting events from the Uk and Ibiza to New Zealand on top of running his own successful Dj agency 'Godwin Management'. Tom's ES debut is long overdue and one we are all looking forward too!
Joining our 3 headlining guests will be our two tried and tested residents Chris Salt and Jez Eyre. Chris has been a resident for ES from the start! 3 whole years and over 15 ES Parties to his name he has built up a real name for himself amongst the ES faithful and long may it continue. His new album will finally be out on Silver Planet in the next few months and a couple of the tracks have been reviewed in recent editions of Dj Mag. Chris's career continues to flourish with trips to the Far East, America and Turkey planned over the next few months.
Jez Eyre was one of the finds of 2008 for ES, someone who we know we could put on warming up for the big boys, pounding out a peak time slot or pumping out the trance at the end of the night, this boy never fails to deliver and if you like progressive, uplifting and driving trance, this is your man!
Downstairs we have invited Jack Michaels to headline, in turn making his ES debut. Jack is well known to us after playing alongside Prok and Fitch for Plastic Fondu at Cherryjam last month and we liked him so much we invited him back for the boat party! Watch out for this guy in 2009!! Lizzie Curious and The Persuaders are our prize assets and any good ES Party will involve these guys, they seriously know how to rock the boat with their progressive and pumping electro and they always get the crowd going nuts. Joining them will be debutant Robin Thurston and The Mismatch Djs who tore the roof off at the Ministry for Plastic Fondu last year. Finally, something special with KOTO, who is beginning to make a name for himself with some great productions and Pacha's Seb Rumore doing a b2b set especially for ES. Their energy and enthusiasm behind the decks have made them regulars in recent months.
All in all this will be a party to remember and something to kick off 2009 in style for ES who will be throwing more parties than ever and debuting more Djs than ever in London!
