Sound Advice is back for round two at Cargo with not one, but two headline DJ's. After the massive success of the launch party back on 8th of July with Darius Syrossian, we've decided to up the stakes and bring in two special guest DJ's at the forefront of House music for this bumper party weekend.
Deepgroove (Great Stuff/Cocoon/Four: Twenty):
2011 is looking to be the best year yet for the dynamic Deepgroove duo of Grayson Shipley and Lee Pattison. A move to Ibiza, some red hot new collaborations, extensive studio sessions and an embracing of all things house are all paying off with a new EP appearing almost every week. Currently sitting in the boxes of all the major players is their new Gruuv EP (with very hot Huxley and Martin Dawson Remixes), which has seen consistent Beatport Deep and Tech House chart action. Imminent is 'Atlas' with a re-rub from the amazing Hermanez and EP's for Andre Crom's Berlin-based OFF Recordings, Suara, Four:Twenty (with Glimpse and Ruthit Remixes), and Tim Sheridan's Veryverywrongindeed Records (with a Waifs & Strays Remix).
Catch them this summer to hear a return to their roots with a deep influenced take on tech house presented in their usual innovative four-deck format.
Sam Russo (ViVA/Leftroom):
Becoming a regular player at clubs such as Junk playing at Circo Loco and Cocoon has earned Russo guest slots at Fabric (London), Superfreq (France), and Ushuaia (Ibiza). Moving forward Russo has displayed impressive results in the studio with releases on Fear Of Flying, Leftroom and VIVA Music. And collaborations with Matt Tolfrey and Huxley have earned Russo his stripes as an engineer for artists such as Craig Richards and Matt Tolfrey. 2011 is looking bright for this young talent.
