Always the ones at the cutting edge of clubbing ideas, OHM has struck upon an idea that is truly groundbreaking! Yes indeed, The people that brought you, bubble wrap as a clubbing essential, concussion as this years must have look and benefit gigs to raise awareness of the plight that zombies face on a daily basis, now add to the list , A New Years Eve Party
And not only will we be venturing into new territory with the whole NYE concept, we'll also be teaming up with another party for the first ever Ohm crossover. As for which party, well . . . who else but the legendary Spangulation, in my view the finest trance party in London, every bit as brilliant as you'd expect for the brainchild of the endlessly talented Steve Hitch.
In fact, the lengths we are going to are truly staggering, We have lobbied the local councils to have NYE pushed back a day so that it falls on a Saturday and allows us to rigidly stick to the last Saturday of the month like tightly wound and highly constipated anal retentives. Alas after filling out all the forms we came across the biggest hurdle of all, raising enough cash for a first class stamp. We did briefly consider hiring a lawyer and suing the postal service for infringing our human rights by making us play their fascist "stamp" game, but then after much (well not that much) debate we decided we couldn't be arsed.
So, for one day only, you can enjoy OHM on Friday night, although you can always enjoy Spangulation on the 3rd friday of the month. Not only that, we’re also going all the way through to 6am as well. We really do spoil you
And spoil you we will, we’ve rounded up a truly international line up for this event (well at least one of them lives outside the M25) and once we’re sure “Stockholm syndrome” has fully taken hold, we might even let them out once in a while. From the Deep South west of London we have the trance styling of Ped, and braving the hazardous journey that is the Northern line is Iain Coleman. I'm not sure where Antz lives, but he's coming as well.
These three brave travelers will be joined by the equally worldly wise Ohm residents, Steve Hitch, Ben Gilman, Markus Buhmann and, after promising to make the tea, new boy Matt Dahl
So to experience a once in a lifetime (so far anyway) mingling of two of London's most original small parties, come on down to the St Christopher’s Inn, 121 Borough High Street
