The Poison is back, and this time it's going to be bigger and better than ever before. To mark the end of summer The Poison and PRL 24 are throwing one of the best dance nights of the year, we will be pulling out all of the stops for this one.
Three rooms playing Electro, Funky House, Trance, Hard Trance and Psy-Trance...
So after a well deserved break we are well and truly ready to blow your socks off again, so on the 15th of September 2007 at the one of the best venues in London The Colosseum, The Poison presents Summer End.... We will be showcasing some the freshest international and local talent there is around, with a special headliner.
In the electro room we are proud to present Sharooz. Sharooz has played sets at world class venues such as Space in Ibiza and Turnmills in London, appearing alongside such luminaries as Pete Tong, Marshall Jefferson and even Shaun Ryder. He
has also established his own studio in North London and began writing for BMG Zomba and EMI Publishing. In 2006, Sharooz released the club smash 'Hell Yeah'. Played numerous times by Judge Jules and Pete Tong on Radio 1, it rapidly became one of the club records of the year, winning the support of the world's biggest DJs: Robbie Rivera named it, Roger Sanchez aired it at his exclusive Release Yourself party at Space Miami, David Guetta played it to 20,000 people at Sensation White, US jocks Bad Boy Bill and DJ Dan caned it, Max Graham applauded it, Pacha Ibiza resident Richard Grey put it on his Ministry compilation, XFM lauded it, Capital FM loved it, Galaxy FM mashed it up and DMC placed it at no.2 in their Buzz and Cool Cuts Chart.
Subsequently appearing on a number of compilations including Ministry of Sound's Mash-Up Mix '07, debuting at no.2 in the UK album charts and selling over 60,000 units, it was licensed in France, Germany, Japan and South Africa. In June 2006,
Sharooz was snapped up by Rotor Recordings for a 3 track EP 'Masterblaster' and in Jan 2007 released the dance floor devastating 'The Worm' on the Full Force Session label.
As we said at the top this one is going to be bigger than ever. Supporting acts will be We R1, which is the new guise of Poison residents Taliah and Artur Keen, Tomasuchy and Funky Paul who will be off to Ibiza in the days to come after the night. In the trance room our very own trance meister Justin Time will be joined by our ever faithful residents X-Ray and R2 all played the hottest new tracks out at the moment. And with another 14 dj's playing the night it is guaranteed to be a truly unforgettable evening.
And if that wasn't enough we will have amazing lazer shows and décor that will blow you away. This is our first time at a venue of this proportion and we really want you to be a part of this whole new experience. We only look one way and that is up, and that is why we always strive for more and more from each event we do, and this one is no exception.
Be sure to mark this date in your diary 15th September @ The Colosseum London 22:00 till 06:00. The Summer end ball is one not to be missed...
