After two years of acclaimed Saturday afternoon events, TILT takes its' rockin’ party vibe into the night with its’ first night event of the year at Vauxhall’s Studio 33. Expect the same tough, uplifting trance & house and electric atmosphere that has made TILT a cult favourite amongst London’s happening party people.
Headlining this month is Heat resident Ian Betts, whose phenomenally energetic uplifting trance sets have made him arguably London’s hottest trance DJ. As a DJ he has appeared alongside the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Matt Darey, and Marco V and is now making a name for himself as a production phenomenon also with his remake of classic “Fixation” and original releases “Love Resurrection” and “Inspiration” causing a huge stir in the UK and abroad.
Over in the bar Groove Factory is proud to present London house & breaks legend Tom Real. Tom is part of the infamous Ignition DJs collective and resident at Bar Riot!, so this man knows a thing or two about how to make a party rock with his mash-up of dirty house and breaks.
Also taking top billing in the Crystal Room is TILT resident and production genius James Lawson, just back from headlining a massive New Year event in New Zealand. James’ standing as an acclaimed hard dance producer and DJ is well documented, but his skills as a trance/psy-trance performer will soon be attracting equal attention as he showcases his new sound at TILT throughout 2005.
Fellow TILT residents Charlie Rox and Daegal Brain return to TILT to show why they both enjoyed vintage years in 2004 and special guests Jim Wild and Panic One complete one of TILT’s most trance-tastic line-ups yet.
Back in the bar, Groove Factory residents Phil Reynolds, Rod Towns and Rich O will be throwing down their pumped up brand of tough funky house beats. Phil Reynolds has long been one of the brightest stars on the hard dance circuit, but his unique DJing talents have also been setting alight the house scene, rocking venues such as SE1 and The Egg in London.
Also bursting on to the London club scene in 2004 is Rod Towns, whose mix of filth-infused house, chunky basslines and electro/tech grooves has been raising hands in the air at the likes of Heat, Innovate and UP^, to name but a few.
Kick-starting the night is the versatile Rich O, who will be laying down one his trademark cool, funky warm up sets. Past sets include a host of great venues across London with SEOne, Egg and The Fridge already conquered.
