Hopefully the birthday hangovers have vanished and you are feeling fresh enough to start looking forward to the next episode of Get Diverted.... and there is lots to be excited about.
Headlining our next jamboree is the legendary Femi B who has been rocking dance floors across the UK since house music first hit our shores in the late 80’s. From London’s leading clubs to the renowned Empire club in Bognor Regis, Femi is likely to go down in funky house music’s hall of fame. Musically versatile, Femi mixes up a fusion of funky, jackin and electro beats - his style embodies the whole Get Diverted vibe - if it’s quality house then we want to hear it - regardless of genre!! Also prolific on the production front Femi's remix of "Ride the Storm" has topped the Ibiza buzz charts this summer and received Pete Tong's tune of the month!!!
Supporting Femi will be Mark Storie who we are extremely proud to say, is Get Diverted’s brand new resident. For those of you who saw the damage this man to our dance floor in August, you’ll know why we wanted to book him again and again and again Mark is quite simply one of London (or Scotland) ’s most talented DJ’s and an innovative producer who is very likely to enjoy a great deal success in the coming years. I’m sure you all know that Mark is one third of the Ninja Cowboy stable and is part of the leading label Toolroom records and we feel that his residency is a commitment to our clubbers to ensure that we have the highest quality house music at Get Diverted.
And the excitement doesn’t end there event as Dave Joyce will also be tearing it up on the turntables. Part of the DirtyGroove collective, Dave is an awesome DJ on every level, with an excellent taste in music , mixing up everything from jackin’ techy beats to dirty, nasty house with a heavy helping of techno thrown in for good measure. His technical skills are also second to none and this has seen him become somewhat of an expert in DJ competitions, taking 1st place at the Inigo DJ competition and runner up at the Egg and Gallery competitions. Having experienced the atmosphere created at the DirtyGroove parties, we are eagerly anticipating his Get Diverted debut.
Completing this all star line up we are very pleased to say is clubland legend in the making Muzz Khan. Muzz has made a huge impact since spinning for the first time a mere 12 months ago, securing a residency at the highly successful Love-Tec at Pacha and rocked the house with a guest spot at Space at the Cross back in the summer. What makes Muzz stand out is his true passion for music, whether it's something funky, something dirty or a track from yesteryear, he is DJ who wears his heart on his sleeve and we know that he will get a great reception when he graces the Get Diverted decks.
So mark 13th October as night for getting well and truly Diverted!!
See you in the crypt people!
