To kick off the weekend of Guilt's second birthday in style we have pulled out a very special line up for our monthly event at the Southside Bar:
PERC, sometimes known as Spartak, Votion, or Ali Wells is the head honcho of Perctrax records, a label that has put out some quality tracks over the past couple of years from artists such as Marc Ashken, Avus, Lazy Fat People, Jame Holden, Nathan Fake and Perc himself. Perc's own productions have appeared on everything from Silver Planet to Choo Choo to Germany's Barbarella, and he's had support from Slam and James Zabiela amongst others. Aside from being a producer of the highest order, he is also pretty handy behind the decks and has played all over the world, including a recent tour of Japan with Avus.
AVUS is known for his tough, techno-edged minimal, and makes his Guilt debut tonight. Avus' productions have long been supported by James Holden, with "Real" featuring on James' renowned Border Community label. His follow up for Border Community, SPNKR, is set for release very soon and will be tearing up dancefloors worldwide soon. Like Perc, as well as being a top quality producer Avus' skills extending to DJing and he is one of the most technically gifted DJs we've ever seen, capable of putting tracks together in ways that blow minds.
ZIPPO is an up and coming Australian from Adelaide who has been setting West London houseparties on fire for a few years and is more than ready to step up to the Guilt decks. His versatility means he can entertain the toughest of crowds, and his work ethic means that he's probably locked away preparing at this very minute. Expect a barrage of dirty beats that you just can't help dancing too from this talented young man.
