Row row row your boat, gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
This is not a dream.
THAT’S RIGHT
Blissed - Part of Speech: adj Definition: extremely happy and content; ecstatic; dandy; filled with a big steaming pile of happiness
‘n’
Twisted – Part of Speech: adj / verb / noun Definition: a deviation in direction. To combine, as two or more strands (or seKsie people), by winding (or grinding) together; intertwine.
ARE BACK ON THE THAMES BABY.
Sorry, when we’re excited, WE have PrObLeMs controlling THE VOLUME OF OUR VOICE.
To the perceptive out there, you might have noticed / been confused by a severe drought of both darkness AND coat wearing weather. The folk at Comfortably Numbed know that these freak variations to the British weather system can cause people to wonder what the Deuce is going. They also know that people are creatures of habit so they’ve stepped up to save your sea-faring cotton socks.
Saturday, the 9th day of July 2011, is an important one:
1) It means we have survived 50 days longer than that dude who listened to iio’s Rapture one too many times first suggested.
2) It is smack bang in the middle of summer. Well, if you ignore the scientific definition of ‘smack bang’
3) It is The Date. A bit like calling Lebowski The Dude. But more like The Date. The Date of what? The date we get back on the motherfunkin’ boat.
Comfortably Numbed are back again with the highlight of the summer calendar: Blissed’n’Twisted on the Thames.
Some facts:
• You really cannot miss this
• Two decks: one blissed, the other twisted
• The finest underground electronic music (played on a deck) by some serious heavyweights of the London club scene
• At our last party, some guy looked up as we went under the millennium bridge and saw Scarlett Johannsen’s knickers.
So, you can tell we’re excited. We always are. This party is epic. That’s where you come in. If you have been before, you know what to expect. If you haven’t, we would LOVE this trip to be your first. Come and share in the best possible day out. Wear a hat. Use ‘sun screen’. Buy a ticket. Look at London from the best vantage point there is. Your own personal beat nirvana.
