Everybody loves classics right? We do, and what better way to share our love of the anthems with you than to bring down not 1, but 2 absolute Hard House legends to EF... After a great start to life at The Attic, it would only be right to keep the momentum running. Manchester, it gives me great pleasure to give to you PAUL MADDOX and BEN STEVENS!!!
PAUL MADDOX - There are very few dance music producers whose creative capacity stretches to a full artist album, so Paul Maddox deserves the fullest praise for his engaging and inspirational double album debut on Tidy.
However, his remarkable feat shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to anyone who graces a full-on dancefloor frequently. Paul has been at the forefront of hard dance consistently since he was dubbed ‘one of clubland’s hottest properties’ earlier in the decade when he was the tender age of 16.
The wizard employs a variety of successful guises, such as Abandon, Azure, O.G.R, Barely Legal (with Guyver) and Olive Grooves, and has collaborated on dozens of all-conquering anthems with the biggest and best in hard music. This set is in conjunction the forthcoming ‘PAUL MADDOX – GREATEST HITS’ album on Tidy.
BEN STEVENS - Regarded by many of his peers as a technical genius on the wheels of steel, beatmaster Ben has become one of the most in-demand hard house DJs in Britain, with regular slots at high-profile events such as Frantic, Storm, Creamfields and the Tidy Weekenders.
Some of the UK’s other leading labels have also secured his services: Tidy, Toolbox, Flashpoint & Tripoli Trax but to name a few as well as being the label manager for Vicious Circle & his own Fireball Recordings imprint Ben also runs the Toolbox Digital download site so constantly has his finger on the pulse of the hard dance scene
The abilities and talents of Ben Stevens are without question: whether producing tunes or playing them, he knows exactly how to work a dancefloor and raise the roof off a club. Ben will be playing a ‘VICIOUS CIRCLE CLASSICS’ set.
Also on the night, there will be double celebrations as resident JIMMY DEAN playing a special ‘STORM CLASSICS’ set and sharing his birthday on this night... Come and buy the guy a daiquiri!! VENKMAN joins proceedings with a special ‘NUKLEUZ CLASSICS’ set just for you guys, along with a ‘BOOTLEG HARD TECH’ set from ASH PRESTON, a ‘EUPHONIC FUZION CLASSICS’ set from new 2012 resident OLLY LENNOX and debutant local DJ MIKE TAYLOR kicking of the evenings activities.
