Having launched monthly in January after 5 years of road-blocking, boddy-popping Nye parties at Turnmills, Together returns to his underground home on Saturday 25th February for more of the same… and quite possibly the biggest line-up ever held at this acid-house loving club. The additional live room and the now fully operational VIP Lounge (Room 4) have both added a whole new dimension to the programming possibilities, with this month’s fun and games set you take you over the (dancefloor) edge! We’re delighted to welcome Rob Da Bank and his Bestival crew to Together this month, so to get into the festival spirit this month Together presents ‘The Hat Brigade’ (see below for more information on what the hell we’re talking about!)
The hub of the action takes place in the main room where it all gets rather silly. There’s exclusive DJ sets to watch out for from France’s eclectic heroes Cassius (Philippe Zdar) and the uber-cool Ladytron, backed up by a residents display of dancefloor debauchery from main man Justin Robertson. Nude resident and rising star Mazzy Supastar kicks off electro beats early doors, before former Nastydirtysexmusic star Tim Sheridan unleashes his brand new twisted creation from 6am – Veryveryverywrongindeed (new weekly after hours session at Turnmills), with an epic 6 hour mash up taking you through until 12pm the next day!! Crikey.
Room 2 keeps the energy and the edginess a go-go, with a night featuring three of Europe’s hottest new talents – bar none. The much anticipated headline set comes from Poker Flat rocker Trentemøller, who’ll be appearing live alongside his DJ partner T.O.M. The hotly-tipped Swedish sensation John Dahlback (cousin of Jesper!) also takes his place in the hot seat alongside 20:20 Vision’s incredible production duo (and Deepdownanddirty residents) The Electric Press. Carbon Music throw their sizeable weight to the night too, supplying the evening’s early mix, whilst over in Room 3 hold onto your hats folks, as the Isle of Wight’s magical festival peeps, Bestival host proceedings for one night only. For Bestival’s Turnmills Beano, not only will the room be kitted in full Bestival décor, but the vibe and DJs selected will have you tripping out all night. Chill-out kings Zero 7 take the special guests mantle, as they swing by for a rare DJ set. Meanwhile, Bestival curator Rob Da Bank offers more smiley beats aplenty, as do those loveable perma-tanned Cuban Brothers - who also take centre stage juggling between their hilarious live show and some good ol’ fashioned bad bwoy tunage.
The action doesn’t stop there though, oh no… as up in Room 4, vintage clothing store Rokit kick off their new bi-monthly shindig. Mark from the Wonderstuff gets ‘Dizzy’ behind the decks, there’s live cabaret from the luscious Gwendaline L’amur and to cap the night off (could it actually get any better than this??)… there’s a proper Cockney Knees Up in store featuring a drunken sing-along from party goers and DJ guests alike. With the Cuban Brothers in the house, who knows when the madness will end?

THE HAT BRIGADE EXPLAINED…Hats = Prizes!!
With the Bestival crew in attendance this month, we thought we’d get into the spirit of things and go Hat crazy!! The plan is simple, yet cunning and fun for all the family. We are encouraging the use of ‘Hats’ for Together Feb… and we want everyone to get into the spirit of things and dress accordingly. You won’t be frowned upon or beaten with a stick should you not wear one, but it would make us happy if you do. Oh, and here’s the good news… the ‘Best Hats’ (and the person wearing them!) will all WIN a host of special prizes on then night including signed goodies, merchandise and whatever else we can blag!
STAR PRIZE: 2 Free Tickets to Bestival 2006
The Finest Hat in the Land win not only be crowned, ‘Together Hat Brigade King/Queen 2006’ (quite an honour in itself), but they will also win 2 FREE TICKETS to this year’s BESTIVAL festival on the Isle of Wight. Oh my golly gosh. Please note, baseball hats will win you diddly squat, however Homemade hats, Bulgarian World War II helmets, straw hats and Indian headdresses are more than welcome. Hats… don’t you just love ‘em!!
