On the 27th October downstairs will be playing host to Magic Beans Recordings for a showcase of their finest talent. Here's a bit about them:
About Magic Beans Records
Magic Beans Records is a London-based uplifting trance label formed in 2003. Since its inception, tracks released on the label have found their way into the charts and record boxes of DJs as diverse as Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, John Fleming, Marc West, Andy Bagguley, Johan Geilen, Ian Betts, OceanForce, Anthony Dean, Adam White, John O'Bir and Richard Tulip, to name but a few. Magic Beans' most celebrated release is the superb 'Gamma Storm', which took clubland by storm in 2004 thanks to an incredible remix by Tequila Sunrise.
With airplay across radio stations such as Radio 1, Ministry of Sound, ID&T and TranceAirWaves, releases from Magic Beans Records have found their way into the hearts of clubbers and the label is home to talented producers such as Sly One, Tequila Sunrise and Jurrane. About the Magic Beans Records DJs
Tequila Sunrise is resident trance DJ at Planet Angel in London, where he also plays breaks as Tequila Slammer. He is best known for his incredibleacid-laden remix of Sly One: 'Gamma Storm' and is also the driving force behind superb live act Padalajan.
Jurrane is co-promoter and resident DJ at London trance night Boundless: United Futures Of Trance. He has recently appeared at nights such as Twisted, One and Outcome, and his productions 'More Than Love' and 'Flame Of The North' have been enjoyed by clubbers across the UK.
Sly One is also resident trance DJ at Planet Angel in London and has also enjoyed recent appearances at Knowwhere and Trance On The Thames. His original mix of 'Gamma Storm' can still be found in record boxes of trance DJs today and his incredible new track 'House Of Music' is scheduled for release very soon.
