After the busiest party ever at the Mill on February 3rd just passed, parlez-vous returns with a solid gold lineup on March 3rd. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does!
Firing up the party downstairs will be Blackout Audio Chief and all round Party Nutter Mark EG.
Mark is a legend in the Dance Scene. Over the last few years, Mark has played at some of the biggest outdoor events on the world stage such as Dance Valley, Impulz and Q Dance. There's his recent Blackout Audio FM techno radio show, which took over from Carl Cox on Moscows Megapolis FM last year and is now broadcast nationally in the Ukraine. Most recently he has been voted 'UK's Best Hard Dance DJ' at the Hardcore Heaven Awards 2003, 2004 and 2005 and for his downright lunacy he received the Party Animal award 2005 at the Londons Hard Dance Awards. Mark's tastes span back to the early 1980's, through Detroit techno, Chicago house, electro, acid house, hard trance and hard techno. Throughout the years he's become widely acclaimed for his intense stage presence, as well as his outrageous antics behind the decks, spanning several different musical scenes and movements. This is one man who simply lives, eats, sleeps and breathes music.
Helping to keep the party firing downstairs will be GoodGreef wonder kid Shan, Toast resident Morgan, residents Ben Stevens and Matt Pickup, Barrington2K and newly appointed Tidy Label manager, Sam Townend.
Upstairs in the house room will be none other than the legendary FC Kahuna
Responsible for the critically acclaimed best selling 2002 album "Machine Says Yes" said by NME to be "Easily as good as the last chemicals' lp and snapping at the heels of Daft Punks' "Discovery" FC Kahuna then went on to host "21st Century Bodyrockers" a series of nine monthly parties where insanity ruled.
The duo have played at some of the worlds' best festivals; Coachella in LA, T In The Park in Scotland, Roskilde in Norway, Reading/Leeds in the UK, and Benicassim in Spain were just a few highlights. Around this time they also released their first mix album Another Fine Mess which featured tracks by everyone from Blur to The Polyphonic Spree as well as more electronic cuts by the likes of Green Velvet and Josh Wink. The mix helped cement FC Kahuna¹s reputation as an international DJ duo as well as quality album artists. Since then the band have remixed everyone from New Order to Felix DaHousecat while DJing all over the UK and worldwide including Japan, South America, Russia, Serbia, Mexico, Holland, Germany, France and and a stint supporting Zero 7 on their U.S tour; catch them on their first trip to Bradford on March 3rd!
The chillout lounge meanwhile Resident host Simon Mu will be welcoming the laid back and Disco beats of Lucy Locket, fresh from international duty in Latvia
