Following nothing short of a busy and buzzing first party of 2008, just the 2nd week into January, Qudos returns to it’s home Mango for it’s 2nd event of the year with one of the biggest tech-trance producer/dj’s in the world – John Askew! Now to put it bluntly, there’s no other place in Reading where you are going to see and hear such a high calibre of Dj’s performing quality music.. Qudos - putting Reading on the map for Trance!
Our headliner, John Askew, is without doubt one of the hottest tech-trance producer/dj’s in the world. His record labels Discover and Discover Dark have given birth to some of the most exciting trance and techno records and albums of the last 6 years - including one of his recent productions ‘Chime’ which Paul Van Dyk played 5 weeks in a row on his Soundgarden radio show. John also holds residencies at many clubs such as The Gallery and for Ministry of Sound’s worldwide tours, which in addition to his massive international status, takes him and his music across the globe.
Also on the night we have Qudos’ star resident Marcos, along with resident Dj/Promoter Tina Martin and additional supporting performances from Simon Bostock of London’s Trance Generation, and Abstract Recording’s Ben Nicky! And now as we move into the new year and the weather is warming, we are re-opening the garden which is to be hosted by Atmosphere Records, with a special guest appearance by Voodoo Dolls resident Sam Red!
