A short history of HarderFaster's “Who’s Going Where” feature plus the preview for WiLDCHiLD & Frantic

Reported by HarderFaster / Submitted 25-11-04 17:06

The forthcoming WiLDCHiLD & Frantic event has been the talk of the forums recently seeing frenzied activity in a bid to break all previous HarderFaster “Who’s Going Where” records.

With all the speculation as to which event held that record we decided to investigate the rankings and ask WiLDCHiLD & Frantic what made their joint event attract so much interest.

The HarderFaster “Who’s Going Where” feature was introduced in mid 2002 and “Add Me” has become the battle cry of promoters and supporters alike.

(Shameless hijack - please click “Add Me” on the HF party – click here Wink)

Matt recalls discussing this feature with Tom quipping that he was thinking it woud be good knowing who was going where so he could avoid people Roll eyes (sarcastic) Little did we realise that this feature would develop into such an key tool, just one of the many things that gives HarderFaster its totally unique appeal to the clubbing community.

In the early days there would often be only one or two attendees per event. These days we regularly see 50 or more. Several people have asked which event held the record so we’ve beavered away to bring you...

Here’s what WiLDCHiLD & Frantic had to say about their phenomenally successful partnership, and what we can expect from them this Saturday..

Arena 1 – WiLDCHiLD & Frantic – Trance Vs Hard House

This is the real deal, taking no prisoners - Frantic & Wildchild come face to face once more. As the heavyweights square up for this battle of immense proportions between the True Power of the Hard House Heroes against the awesome might of the Trance Pioneers.

There’s plenty of diversity on offer in the main arena from BK’s hardnosed techno and hard house stylings to JFK’s unbeatable trance energy, and no doubt plenty of bouncy action from Frantic’s one and only Andy Whitby, and of course Lisa Pin-Up.

If that’s not enough check out Tidy’s finest Paul Glazby lining up head-to-head with Wildchild’s very own Reece Elliot.

Completing the awesome array of talent in Arena 1, that old Frantic Favourite Phil Reynolds follows on from his spellbinding end-of-night set at the recent Hard House Academy with another headlining set, and finally Passion Resident Andy Bagguley & Trance man of the moment, Mr. Mike Koglin!!!

WiLDCHiLD’s legendary lady Little Gem is set to make an awesome last set appearance b2b with London Hero Lucy Fur. 5am-6am in this Arena will see these two battling it out – worth the ticket price alone! Not to be missed.

Adding a touch of International Flavour to the Awesome Arena 2, Brazilian Eduardo Herrera welcomes great British hopeful Future Sound Of Elvis and No Limits’ very own Paul Divine to the stage!

Arena 3 - Hardcore ‘Til I Die - Hardcore all the way

Arena 3 brings together one of the finest hardcore line-ups seen in the capital for years - this room is going to go off in a major way!

Frantic and WiLDCHiLD are proud to present THE most exciting live PA in hard dance and beyond…the awesome CLSM. Hard dance pioneer Jon Doe’s highly innovative hardcore outfit combine the best elements of hardcore, drum ‘n’ bass, and hard dance, with explosive results. Their last appearance at the SeOne included a large game of volleyball with the crowd, CD giveaways, bizarre masks, cue cards, carrots…oh yeah, and plenty of excellent music. If you only see one live PA this year…make sure it’s these guys. Unlike anything else around!

From one of the country’s most highly acclaimed and eclectic hardcore nights, Elation, we present the awesome HB & Ponder, and the amazing Uplift. If you think hardcore is all about cheese, think again. These guys are pure class.

In the Hardcore ‘Til I Die corner, we present hardcore legends Breeze & Styles, two of the most in-demand producers and DJs in hardcore. Expect highly uplifting music, with a potential smattering of hard and dirty beats!

The hardcore scratchmaster DJ Sy will be showing why he is consistently one voted one of the top hardcore DJs in the world, with his joyous array of bouncy and trancy hardcore tunes, and his unbeatable scratching.

Whizzbit and the Jellybeanz Crew strengthen this amazing line-up further, plus the Welsh wizards Cally & Juice are performing an exclusive hardcore set! Oh and did we mention the MCs? The amazing voice-scratching talents of MC Storm, plus Whizzkid and Wotsee help to bring even more energy to this incredibly exciting room!
