Label: Tripoli Trax
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre:
Coming in the form of a double vinyl release and featuring five different mixes, A&R Tripoli guru, Steve "One To Watch" Hill, helps to provide something for everyone in this neat little package. The main Bad Habit Boys mix is pure class. A pumping, uplifting affair that breaks into the most infectious of riffs, this is a joy to mix and will leave you humming away to your hearts content.
On the flip we have mixes courtesy of Crowded Street, which is slightly slower and more relaxed and from MPV, which is a pacier mix. Both mixes still maintain the high quality of the original elements and supplement this already solid track. On the second disk, we have rising legend Paul Glazby supplying the magic driving hard house touch, and he doesen't disapoint here. Full of pounding energy before kicking into the break with its stabs from the main riff, and then thundering off again faster than a bullet train.
The other mix features the highly credible Norman Bass, and after chart successes last year, this mix stands head and shoulders above the rest. This more popular mainstream mix is destined for chart action and along with the Bad Habit Boys mix, this is a must. In one quick and easy measure Tripoli show us how to cater for a wider audience and lead the way witha clever bit of A&Ring.
