Here we have the next instalment on the Fidget Hard imprint, the output for some serious Hard House from Fidget head honcho, Barry Diston. In this case Barry teams up with Steve Gillen, for a galloping, relentless stompathon of a track! A nice crisp kick and some nice little loops in the intro beef the track up making it nice and full in the mix, before the throbbing off-beat bassline comes in. The ‘Down ‘n’ Dirty’ vocal is very appropriate for this track as it does exactly what it says on the tin, and is used well in the intro. The guys have used a wicked dirty synth line and this is brought in bit by bit to create the feeling of progression and also works well. As we enter the breakdown things turn quite dark and sinister with some eery pads and the full synth line is introduced. It’s very catchy, and I can imagine it sounds awesome on a big system, a real rumbler! Wicked build up here, they really build up the vibes nicely before an awesome filtered drum fill, and we’re back in business as the track takes the roof off! We’re treated to a few nice key changes after the break which keeps things interesting too. All in all a great Hard House track that’ll have the cleaners scraping you off the ceiling after you’ve heard it! Looking forward to hearing this one out! Nice work!
