Label: Hard Kandy
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Hard Trance

Another month and another new label from the prolific camp of Dave Joy, who launches the Hard Kandy imprint in fine style with this romping hard trancer from NFX. The Original Mix on this release certainly packs an almighty punch. With the classic reverse bass sample driving it along, it glides through tough kicks, crunching snares and hard-hitting stabs before arriving at the spoken word vocal in full flare. Driven by a big euphoric trance riff not dissimilar to something Phil Reynolds may have played in the Camden Palace days, whilst this track doesn't set the originality fires alight, it'll certainly do the job on the dancefloor and will not fail to get the arms aloft.

On the B, Dark By Design & Alex Kidd step up with the remix and they add a typically UK edge to proceedings but with a neat twist on the lead melody. As per usual, the combination of crazy snare patterns and cymbal crashes is present in the break which has previously lost energy in productions from this pairing, but this time they stay just on the right side of crazy to pull it off and power the track home in style.

A solid start for Hard Kandy and one which all Hard Trance fans should certainly have a gander at.
